This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Light snow is forecast across the Northland today and tonight.
The highest snow amounts will be found over northern Iron County
where an additional 1 to 3 inches are possible. Elsewhere a
dusting up to 2 inches is expected through tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Light snow will continue across the area on Saturday. Lake and
terrain enhancement is expected along the North Shore. Areas from
Two Harbors to Grand Marais could see an additional 2 to 4 inches
of snow accumulation with lighter totals elsewhere in the
Northland. As the snow tapers off Saturday afternoon through
Saturday evening, there is a slight chance of freezing rain or
freezing drizzle. With the low chances of freezing precipitation,
no ice accumulation is expected at this time.

Accumulating snow may occur Wednesday afternoon through Thursday.
Amounts are in question due to timing, strength and track of an
anticipated low pressure system. This information will be fine
tuned as we get closer to the event.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Snow spotters are requested to report their snowfall measurements
to the National Weather Service.
