THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST
MINNESOTA AND NORTHWEST WISCONSIN.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

ANOTHER ROUND OF SNOW IS EXPECTED OVER THE NORTHLAND TODAY AND
TONIGHT. SNOW ACCUMULATION WILL RANGE FROM 1 TO 6 INCHES ACROSS
THE NORTHLAND...WITH THE HIGHEST TOTALS IN NORTHWEST WISCONSIN AND
IN THE MINNESOTA ARROWHEAD. ROADS WILL BECOME SNOW COVERED AND
SLIPPERY. THE COMBINATION OF FALLING SNOW AND LIGHT WINDS WILL
REDUCE VISIBILITY BELOW ONE-HALF MILE AT TIMES. PLEASE REFER TO
THE LATEST WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE AND FORECASTS FOR ADDITIONAL
DETAILS ON THE WINTER STORM WARNING AND WINTER WEATHER ADVISORIES
CURRENTLY IN EFFECT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED WEDNESDAY INTO THURSDAY.
TOTAL SNOWFALL ASSOCIATED WITH THIS EVENT SHOULD GENERALLY BE ONE
TO THREE INCHES.

ARCTIC AIR WILL MAKE A RETURN TO THE REGION DURING THE LATTER
PART OF THE WORK WEEK...AS A STRONG COLD FRONT DROPS SOUTHWARD
ACROSS THE REGION. THIS WILL LIKELY RESULT IN THE NEED FOR WIND
CHILL ADVISORIES OR EVEN WARNINGS DURING THAT TIME. THE LOWEST
WIND CHILL VALUES ARE EXPECTED THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY MORNING.

EASTERN UPPER PENINSULA OF MICHIGAN BY THIS EVENING. STRONG
WESTERLY WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP BY LATE AFTERNOON...AND
CONTINUE INTO WEDNESDAY MORNING. AS A RESULT...A SMALL CRAFT
ADVISORY HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR THE NEARSHORE WATERS OF WESTERN LAKE

THE SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY FOR THE NEARSHORE WATERS OF WESTERN LAKE

STRONG WINDS ARE ALSO EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ON THURSDAY AND
THURSDAY NIGHT...AND WILL LIKELY RESULT IN THE ISSUANCE OF SMALL
CRAFT ADVISORIES OR EVEN GALE WARNINGS DURING THAT TIME.
