THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST
MINNESOTA AND NORTHWEST WISCONSIN.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

SNOWFALL FROM 1 TO 3 INCHES WILL FALL ACROSS THE NORTHLAND TODAY
INTO THIS EVENING WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS ALONG THE NORTH
SHORE...MAINLY BETWEEN LUTSEN AND GRAND PORTAGE. A WINTER WEATHER
ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR A PORTION OF THE NORTH SHORE THROUGH
THIS EVENING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

ANOTHER AREA OF LOW PRESSURE WILL BRING LIGHT SNOW OR A MIX OF
LIGHT SNOW AND RAIN TO MAINLY NORTHERN MINNESOTA MONDAY AFTERNOON.
THE PRECIPITATION WILL SWITCH TO SNOW MONDAY NIGHT. SNOWFALL FROM
A DUSTING TO 2 INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE...WITH THE GREATEST CHANCE
FOR ACCUMULATION NORTH OF HIGHWAY 2 IN NORTHERN MINNESOTA.

SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS ARE LIKELY ACROSS THE NORTHLAND TUESDAY
THROUGH FRIDAY AS A SLOW-MOVING STORM SYSTEM PASSES ACROSS THE
REGION. SEVERAL INCHES OF SNOW ACCUMULATION ARE POSSIBLE DURING THIS
PERIOD. AREAS IN THE NORTHWEST WISCONSIN SNOWBELT MAY SEE A
PROLONGED PERIOD OF LAKE ENHANCED SNOWFALL WITH SIGNIFICANT
ACCUMULATIONS POSSIBLE WEDNESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING.

WATERS OF WESTERN LAKE SUPERIOR.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

SOUTH WINDS WILL VEER SOUTHWESTERLY AND WIND SPEEDS WILL INCREASE
THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH THE NIGHT. OCCASIONAL WIND GUSTS TO 25 KNOTS
ARE POSSIBLE. THE WIND AND RESULTANT WAVES MAY CREATE CONDITIONS
HAZARDOUS TO SMALLER VESSELS. PLEASE REFER TO THE NEARSHORE MARINE
FORECAST FOR ADDITIONAL DETAILS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

WIND SPEEDS WILL GRADUALLY SUBSIDE AS WINDS BACK SOUTHERLY ON
MONDAY. CONDITIONS MAY REMAIN HAZARDOUS TO SMALLER VESSELS EARLY IN
THE DAY.

A SLOW-MOVING STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING A PROLONGED PERIOD OF STRONG
WINDS MONDAY NIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING. CONDITIONS WILL BECOME
HAZARDOUS TO SMALL CRAFT MONDAY NIGHT AND OCCASIONAL GALES TO
35 KNOTS ARE POSSIBLE TUESDAY NIGHT THROUGH EARLY THURSDAY MORNING.
