This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight

Rain and thunderstorms are likely tonight, with another round of
heavy rainfall possible. A few strong to severe thunderstorms are
not out of the question over interior areas of northwest
Wisconsin, mainly in Sawyer and Price Counties. The strongest
storms will be capable of producing hail to the size of quarters
and wind gusts to 60 mph. The highest potential for additional
heavy rain is over much of northwest Wisconsin, which could
exacerbate ongoing flooding in southern Ashland County and lead to
additional flooding in other areas. A Flash Flood Watch remains
in affect for the areas which have received the most rainfall
during the past few days.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Rain and thunderstorms will taper off by early Thursday
afternoon. Additional flooding is possible due to recent rains,
especially on main stem rivers as water flows downstream out of
creeks and tributaries.

There are low chances of thunderstorms across northeast Minnesota
and northwest Wisconsin Monday afternoon and evening.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Skywarn spotters may be needed this evening for portions of
northwest Wisconsin. Spotters and the public are encouraged to
report rainfall amounts or observed flooding to the National
Weather Service.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the nearshore
waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight

Strong and gusty northeast winds will develop over western Lake
Superior this evening and tonight. The strongest winds will be
along and near the South Shore along northwest Wisconsin, near and
east of Bayfield Peninsula, where there will be gale-force gusts.
The winds and resulting waves will cause widespread hazardous
conditions for small craft across western Lake Superior well into
Thursday. Gale Warnings and Small Craft Advisories will be in
effect through Thursday evening. Please read the latest Marine
Weather Messages for more information.

Thunderstorms are possible across western Lake Superior through
tonight. The storms will likely remain relatively weak.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Strong and gusty northeast winds across western Lake Superior
early Thursday will gradually weaken through the day, becoming
light again by the late afternoon. However, the hazardous waves
will linger into the evening. Gale Warnings and Small Craft
Advisories will be in effect through much of the day. Please read
the latest Marine Weather Messages for more information.

Strong northeast flow will likely develop across western Lake
Superior Saturday. The winds and resulting waves could prove
hazardous for small craft until the wind and waves subside later
Saturday night.
