MINNESOTA AND NORTHWEST WISCONSIN.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

PATCHY FOG EXPECTED TO DEVELOP THIS EVENING ACROSS THE
NORTHLAND...ESPECIALLY IN INLAND NORTHWEST WISCONSIN WHERE FOG MAY
REDUCE VISIBILITY TO A HALF MILE OR LESS AT TIMES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

THERE IS A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS NORTHERN MINNESOTA
BEGINNING FRIDAY NIGHT...AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE LIKELY ACROSS
THE ENTIRE REGION SATURDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT AS A STRONG WEATHER
DISTURBANCE AND COLD FRONT MOVE ACROSS THE AREA.

SOME OF THE STORMS SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING COULD REACH
SEVERE LEVELS. AT THIS TIME THE PRIMARY THREAT APPEARS TO BE
DAMAGING WIND. IN ADDITION...LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE
POSSIBLE.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SKYWARN SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED THIS AFTERNOON OR
TONIGHT...BUT SKYWARN SPOTTER ACTIVATION IS POSSIBLE ON SATURDAY
INTO SATURDAY EVENING ACROSS THE NORTHLAND.

FROM LATE FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT. SOME OF THE STORMS
COULD BE STRONG OR SEVERE WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR STRONG WIND
GUSTS AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING.
