This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Patchy dense fog will affect some low lying and other favored
locations across northeast Minnesota and adjacent portions of
northwest Wisconsin through around 8 AM this morning. Fog could
locally reduce visibility to a half mile, and will result in very
rapid changes in visibility over short distances.

There is a chance of thunderstorms across roughly the northern
third of Minnesota tonight, with the highest chances along the
Canadian border. Storms are not expected to be severe, but will
produce some cloud to ground lightning and locally heavy
downpours.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Chances for thunderstorms will persist across all of the
Northland during the period from Thursday into Sunday, as a very
slowly moving front lingers across the region. The greatest
chance of thunderstorms during most of this period is expected to
be across central and northern Minnesota, and Friday night through
Saturday night. At this time, the threat for any storms reaching
severe levels appears to be rather low.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Skywarn Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight.
