  DULUTH MN TO PORT WING WI...
  LAKE SUPERIOR WEST OF A LINE FROM SAXON HARBOR WI TO GRAND PORTAGE
  MN BEYOND 5NM...
  TWO HARBORS TO DULUTH MN...

AT 855 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THE LEADING EDGE OF A LARGE
AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS LOCATED FROM NEAR THE DULUTH AIRPORT... TO
JUST SOUTH OF SUPERIOR...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 25 KNOTS.

THESE STORMS WILL AFFECT ALL OF THE NEARSHORE AND OPEN WATERS OF THE
SOUTHWEST TIP OF LAKE SUPERIOR THROUGH AT LEAST 10 PM...PRODUCING
FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND WIND GUSTS UP TO 30 KNOTS.

STORMS WILL REACH THE DULUTH-SUPERIOR HARBOR BY 9 PM...AND SHOULD
REACH TWO HARBORS AND PORT WING BETWEEN 930 AND 10 PM CDT.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
BRULE POINT...DULUTH LIFT BRIDGE CHANNEL...FRENCH RIVER AND BARKERS
ISLAND.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...AND LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR
IMMEDIATELY UNTIL THESE STORMS PASS.
