THE AREAS AFFECTED INCLUDE...
  DULUTH MN TO PORT WING WI...
  LAKE SUPERIOR WEST OF A LINE FROM SAXON HARBOR WI TO GRAND PORTAGE
  MN BEYOND 5NM...
  TWO HARBORS TO DULUTH MN...

AT 830 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THE LEADING EDGE OF A LARGE
AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING FROM 13 NM NORTHWEST OF DULUTH...TO
32 NM SOUTH OF SUPERIOR HARBOR...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 35 KNOTS.

THESE STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING FREQUENT LIGHTNING AND
WINDS UP TO 30 KNOTS.

IF THEY MAINTAIN THEIR PRESENT MOVEMENT...STORMS WILL REACH THE
DULUTH HARBOR BETWEEN 845 AND 900 PM... AND A LINE ROUGHLY FROM TWO
HARBORS...TO JUST SOUTH OF PORT WING BY AROUND 930 PM.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
BRULE POINT...DULUTH LIFT BRIDGE CHANNEL...FRENCH RIVER...BARKERS
ISLAND AND SUPERIOR HARBOR.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...AND LIGHTNING STRIKES. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR
IMMEDIATELY UNTIL THESE STORMS PASS.
