.STRONG NORTHEAST WINDS WILL DEVELOP THROUGH THE DAY AND CONTINUE
TONIGHT BEFORE DIMINISHING LATE TONIGHT INTO SUNDAY MORNING. A
PERIOD OF STRONGER WINDS WILL OCCUR LATER THIS AFTERNOON INTO THE
EVENING WITH GALES MORE LIKELY. THE MOST LIKELY LOCATION FOR GALE
FORCE WINDS WILL BE IN THE TWIN PORTS AREA AND A GALE WARNING HAS
BEEN ISSUED FOR THAT AREA.

CDT TONIGHT. A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY HAS ALSO BEEN ISSUED. THIS
SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 10 AM
CDT SUNDAY.

* SUSTAINED WINDS...NORTHEAST 20 TO 30 KNOTS.

* WIND GUSTS...UP TO 40 KNOTS LATE THIS AFTERNOON INTO THE LATE
  EVENING.

* WAVES...7 TO 9 FEET.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A GALE WARNING MEANS WINDS OF 34 TO 47 KNOTS ARE IMMINENT OR
OCCURRING. OPERATING A VESSEL IN GALE CONDITIONS REQUIRES
EXPERIENCE AND PROPERLY EQUIPPED VESSELS. IT IS HIGHLY
RECOMMENDED THAT MARINERS WITHOUT THE PROPER EXPERIENCE SEEK SAFE
HARBOR PRIOR TO THE ONSET OF GALE CONDITIONS.

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY MEANS THAT WIND SPEEDS OF 21 TO 33 KNOTS
ARE EXPECTED TO PRODUCE HAZARDOUS WAVE CONDITIONS TO SMALL CRAFT.
INEXPERIENCED MARINERS...ESPECIALLY THOSE OPERATING SMALLER
VESSELS SHOULD AVOID NAVIGATING IN THESE CONDITIONS.
