URGENT - MARINE WEATHER MESSAGE

...INCREASING WINDS AND BUILDING WAVES TODAY...

A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE WILL MOVE ACROSS THE NORTHERN CANADIAN
PRAIRIES WITH A WEAK WARM FRONT EXTENDING SOUTH INTO THE UPPER
MIDWEST...WHILE HIGH PRESSURE CENTERED OVER ILLINOIS DRIFTS
EASTWARD ACROSS SOUTHERN LOWER MICHIGAN TODAY. THE PRESSURE
GRADIENT WILL TIGHTEN AS THE FRONT APPROACHES LATE THIS MORNING.
SOUTHWEST WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO CONTINUE TODAY WITH WIND SPEEDS
INCREASING THROUGH THE DAY. SUSTAINED WINDS OF 15 TO 25 KNOTS ARE
EXPECTED BY LATE THIS AFTERNOON WITH OCCASIONAL GUSTS TO 35 KNOTS
POSSIBLE. THE AREA OF LOW PRESSURE WILL MOVE AWAY FROM WESTERN
LAKE SUPERIOR OVERNIGHT ALLOWING THE PRESSURE GRADIENT TO RELAX
ALLOWING WINDS AND WAVES TO DIMINISH.
