ADJACENT AREAS...

AT 1050 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM ISLAND VIEW TO 8
MILES WEST OF LONG LAKE...ROUGHLY ALONG THE SOUTHWEST EDGE OF
VOYAGEURS NATIONAL PARK.  STORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 45 MPH.

THESE STORMS ARE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING UP TO NICKEL SIZE HAIL...WIND
GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH...FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING...AND VERY
HEAVY DOWNPOURS.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
  KABETOGAMA LAKE...    RAINY LAKE...         LONG LAKE...
  SAND POINT LAKE...    CRANE LAKE...
  VOYAGEURS NATIONAL PARK...

STAY AWAY FROM TALL OBJECTS OUTDOORS SUCH AS TREES. SEEK SHELTER IN
A STURDY STRUCTURE UNTIL THESE STORMS HAVE PASSED.
