...SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW RESULTING IN REDUCED VISIBILITY THIS
MORNING...

LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS AND STRONG NORTHWEST WINDS WERE CAUSING
REDUCED VISIBILITY NEAR THE SOUTH SHORE OF LAKE SUPERIOR THIS
MORNING. OBSERVERS HAVE REPORTED VISIBILITY BETWEEN 1 MILE AND
300 FT...WITH PERIODS OF WHITEOUT CONDITIONS DURING THE STRONGER
WIND GUSTS.

LOCATIONS AFFECTED INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO WI HIGHWAY 13
IN NORTHERN BAYFIELD AND NORTHERN ASHLAND COUNTIES...US HIGHWAY 2
FROM IRON RIVER TO HURLEY...WI HIGHWAY 169 IN NORTHWEST IRON
COUNTY...WI HIGHWAY 77 IN NORTHERN IRON COUNTY...AND US HIGHWAY 51
IN IRON COUNTY.

USE CAUTION WHILE TRAVELING THIS MORNING. VISIBILITY MAY DECREASE
RAPIDLY IN GUSTS AND IN HEAVIER SNOW BANDS. IN ADDITION TO THE
REDUCED VISIBILITY...SNOW MAY COVER ROADS IN LOCATIONS FAVORABLE
FOR DRIFTING.
