...SLIPPERY ROADS POSSIBLE ACROSS THE NORTHLAND TONIGHT AND FRIDAY...

Chances of light snow and possibly some freezing drizzle will
move into the Northland this evening and into early Friday
morning, leading to some slick stretches on area roads. The
coldest temperatures are expected over the Arrowhead of Minnesota
over Lake and Cook counties. However, temperatures should remain
below freezing nearly everywhere across the Northland tonight.

The light snow will transition to more of a wintry mix across
much of the Northland by Friday morning, just in time for the
morning commute, with snow, rain/snow mix, drizzle, freezing
drizzle, and sleet all possible, especially over northwest
Wisconsin. If you must travel on area roads tonight and Friday, be
sure to allow extra time to reach your destinations, and allow
plenty of space between you and other traffic.
