...BEACH HAZARDS STATEMENT IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM CDT THIS MORNING
THROUGH THIS EVENING...

.TODAY...
Swim risk...........HIGH. High surf and large swells will produce
                    dangerous pounding surf and rip currents at the
                    beaches. People visiting the beaches should
                    stay out of the high surf.
Sky/weather.........Sunny. Areas of fog until 9 AM.
Max temperature.....Around 75...but dropping in the afternoon.
Beach winds.........Breezy. East winds 10 to 15 mph developing this
                    morning then increasing to northeast 20 to 25 mph
                    in the afternoon.
Wave heights........1 foot or less building to 3 to 6 feet in the
                    afternoon.

A HIGH risk of swimming hazards means that dangerous waves and
currents are expected along the shore. Swimming conditions may be
life threatening to anyone entering the water.

.FRIDAY...Partly sunny. Chance of thunderstorms in the morning.
Highs in the lower 80s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Waves 1 to
2 feet.
.SATURDAY...Mostly cloudy. Chance of thunderstorms. Highs in the
mid 70s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph. Waves 1 foot or less.
