...BEACH HAZARDS STATEMENT IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

.REST OF TODAY...
Swim risk...........HIGH. High surf and large swells will produce
                    dangerous pounding surf and rip currents at the
                    beaches. People visiting the beaches should
                    stay out of the high surf.
Sky/weather.........Cloudy and foggy this morning...becoming partly
                    cloudy this afternoon...and mostly cloudy this
                    evening.
Max temperature.....Around 65.
Beach winds.........Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Gusts to 20 mph
                    late this afternoon and evening.
Wave heights........1 to 2 feet...building to 2 to 4 feet by late
                    this afternoon.

A HIGH risk of swimming hazards means that dangerous waves and
currents are expected along the shore. Swimming conditions may be
life threatening to anyone entering the water.

.FRIDAY...Mostly cloudy. Chance of showers and slight chance of
thunderstorms. Highs in the mid 60s. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph.
Waves 1 to 2 feet building to 2 to 4 feet late in the afternoon.
.SATURDAY...Mostly cloudy. Chance of thunderstorms. Highs in the
lower 70s. Southeast winds up to 5 mph. Waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding
to 1 to 2 feet in the late morning and afternoon.
