...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1115 AM CDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN IRON...SOUTHEASTERN ASHLAND...NORTHERN PRICE AND
EAST CENTRAL SAWYER COUNTIES...

At 1059 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Fifield, or
near Park Falls, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Quarter size hail...and gusts to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected.

Locations impacted include...
Park Falls, Turtle Flambeau Flowage, Fifield, Butternut, Glidden, and
Butternut Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature`s leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flood waters.
