...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 545 PM CDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN ST. LOUIS AND NORTHWESTERN LAKE COUNTIES...

At 524 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 19 miles northwest of Basswood Lake, to 12 miles
northwest of Burntside Lake, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Basswood Lake, Lake Agnes, Crooked Lake, and Trout Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of
a building. Get off area lakes and move indoors or inside a vehicle.
 Move to safe shelter now! Do not be caught on the water in a
thunderstorm.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Many portages and low lying drainage channels in the
Boundary Water could be flooded with rapidly moving water, do not
attempt to cross them!
