...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR CENTRAL ST. LOUIS COUNTY HAS
EXPIRED...

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.

However, strong storms will still persist across much of central St.
Louis County through at least 645 PM CDT, including Hoyt Lakes,
Makinen, Skibo, Babbitt, and Aurora.  Hail up to nickel size, 40 mph
wind gusts, torrential downpours and frequent cloud to ground
lightning can be expected.
