...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN AITKIN...NORTHWESTERN PINE AND SOUTHERN CARLTON
COUNTIES...

At 809 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Willow River,
or 20 miles north of Hinckley, moving southeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

This severe storm will be near...
  Bruno around 815 PM CDT.
  Askov around 820 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include
Grindstone Lake Pine County, Finlayson, Arthyde, Moose Lake State
Park, Duquette, Lawler, Dads Corner, Denham, Banning State Park, and
Automba.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in
Duluth MN.

If on one of the many area lakes, get away from the water and move
indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike 15 miles
from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close
enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do not be
caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
