...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM CDT
FOR EAST CENTRAL ST. LOUIS COUNTY...

At 701 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Aurora, or 27
miles south of Lake Vermilion, moving east at 15 mph. Quarter sized
hail was reported at 0653 PM CDT in Biwabik.

HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Law enforcement.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of east
central St. Louis County, including the following locations: Wynne
Lake, Skibo, Esquagama Lake, Mesaba and Bassett Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

This storm is producing large hail. SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a sturdy
structure and stay away from windows.
