.A STORM WILL BRING HEAVY SNOW TO THE NORTHLAND ON WEDNESDAY.
THE LOW WILL MOVE ACROSS THE DAKOTAS AND THEN ACROSS NORTHERN IOWA
OR SOUTHERN MINNESOTA TO CENTRAL WISCONSIN ON WEDNESDAY AND
WEDNESDAY EVENING. AMOUNTS OF ABOUT 8 TO 12 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE IN
THE AREA FROM THE BRAINERD LAKES THROUGH THE TWIN PORT AND
NORTHERN WISCONSIN.

THURSDAY MORNING...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DULUTH HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM
WATCH FOR HEAVY SNOW WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM LATE TUESDAY NIGHT
THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING.

* LOCATION...BRAINERD LAKES AREA IN MINNESOTA THROUGH THE TWIN
  PORTS AND ALL OF NORTHWESTERN WISCONSIN.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL BEGIN TOWARD MORNING WEDNESDAY AND CONTINUE
  THROUGH THE DAY AND END WEDNESDAY NIGHT

* SNOW/ICE ACCUMULATIONS...6 INCHES TO UP TO A FOOT OF SNOW.
  NORTHERN WISCONSIN WILL LIKELY SEE THE MOST SNOW.

* WINDS/VISIBILITY...AT THE HEAD OF THE LAKE IT WILL BE VERY WIND
  WITH EAST WINDS GUSTING TO OVER 30 MILES AN HOUR.

* IMPACTS...THE HEAVY SNOW AND HIGH WINDS COULD BRING DOWN
  BRANCHES. ROADS WILL BECOME SNOW COVERED WITH LOW VISIBILITY.
