.A WINTER STORM WILL LIFT THROUGH THE PLAINS TOWARDS THE GREAT
LAKES ON TUESDAY...BRINGING HEAVY SNOW TO MUCH OF THE UPPER
MIDWEST...INCLUDING NORTHWEST WISCONSIN. THE SNOW WILL REACH
LOCATIONS IN NORTHWEST WISCONSIN TUESDAY AFTERNOON...WITH THE
HEAVIEST SNOWFALL ARRIVING DURING THE EVENING HOURS. EXPECT SNOWFALL
ACCUMULATIONS IN EXCESS OF 6 INCHES ALONG AND EAST OF THE HIGHWAY
63 CORRIDOR...FROM ASHLAND SOUTH TO HAYWARD AND SPOONER.

  THROUGH THE DAY WEDNESDAY.

* PRECIPITATION RATES...THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL RATES WILL OCCUR
  BETWEEN 6 PM TUESDAY AND MIDNIGHT WEDNESDAY. THE HEAVIER
  SNOWFALL WILL PERSIST LONGER ALONG THE SOUTH SHORE OF LAKE
  SUPERIOR.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...6 TO 9 INCHES...WITH LOCALIZED AMOUNTS UP
  TO 12 INCHES. THE GREATEST SNOWFALL AMOUNTS WILL BE ALONG THE
  SOUTH SHORE OF LAKE SUPERIOR.

* WINDS / VISIBILITIES...WINDS GUSTING AS HIGH AS 40 MPH WILL
  CAUSE AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW...ESPECIALLY IN OPEN
  AREAS. IN ADDITION...AREAS OF POOR VISIBILITY ARE EXPECTED.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL CONDITIONS WILL RAPIDLY DETERIORATE DURING THE
