...SNOW OVER NORTHWEST WISCONSIN TODAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...

.NORTHWEST WISCONSIN CAN EXPECT PERIODS OF ACCUMULATING SNOW
TODAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY. THERE WILL BE LINGERING SNOW TODAY
BECAUSE OF A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVING THROUGH THE GREAT LAKES
REGION. THE LOW WILL BEGIN TO MOVE EAST OF THE GREAT LAKES THIS
EVENING...BUT AREAS NEAR LAKE SUPERIOR IN NORTHWEST WISCONSIN CAN
EXPECT ADDITIONAL SNOW TONIGHT AND WEDNESDAY. LAKE EFFECT SNOW
SHOWERS WILL DEVELOP TONIGHT AND LINGER INTO WEDNESDAY BECAUSE OF
COLD NORTHERLY FLOW OVER WESTERN LAKE SUPERIOR. THE GREATEST
SNOWFALL TOTALS ARE FORECAST FOR NORTHERN IRON COUNTY WHERE A
TOTAL OF 7 TO 10 INCHES IS FORECAST TO FALL TODAY THROUGH
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON. LESSER AMOUNTS...ABOUT 4 TO 7 INCHES...ARE
FORECAST FOR NORTHERN ASHLAND AND NORTHERN BAYFIELD COUNTIES.
