...MODERATE SNOW EXPECTED OVER PORTIONS OF NORTHWEST WISCONSIN LATE
TONIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY NIGHT...

...SNOW AND FREEZING DRIZZLE THIS MORNING OVER THE ARROWHEAD AND
IRON RANGE...

.A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL SLOWLY MOVE THROUGH THE UPPER MIDWEST
THIS WEEK AND BRING ACCUMULATING SNOW TO THE NORTHLAND TODAY
THROUGH WEDNESDAY. TODAY...A LEADING BAND OF SNOW WILL AFFECT THE
ARROWHEAD WITH LIGHT SNOW WHERE FREEZING DRIZZLE MADE UNTREATED
ROADS SLICK AND HAZARDOUS. TONIGHT ANOTHER BAND OF SNOW WILL SET
UP OVER NORTHWEST WISCONSIN...AND CONTINUE THROUGH MUCH OF TUESDAY
BEFORE DIMINISHING TUESDAY NIGHT. THE AXIS OF GREATEST SNOWFALL
ACCUMULATIONS HAS SHIFTED SOUTH FROM EARLIER FORECASTS. THERE IS
SOME POTENTIAL FOR 3 TO 5 INCHES OF INCHES OF SNOW OVER PORTIONS
OF NORTHWEST WISCONSIN. SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 3 INCHES ARE
EXPECTED OVER THE ARROWHEAD. THERE IS STILL SOME UNCERTAINTY WITH
THE TRACK OF THIS STORM HOWEVER...SO INTERESTED INDIVIDUALS SHOULD
KEEP UPDATED ON THE LATEST INFORMATION.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 2
  INCHES.

* IMPACTS...UNTREATED ROADS WILL BE SLICK AS THE SNOW IS FALLING
  ON TOP OF A GLAZE OF ICE ACCUMULATION FROM LAST EVENING.

* THE WINTER STORM WATCH FOR TONIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY NIGHT HAS
  BEEN CANCELLED AS SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED TO BE
  LOWER...GENERALLY FROM 1 TO 3 INCHES.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR MIXED PRECIPITATION MEANS A MIXTURE
OF FREEZING DRIZZLE AND SNOW IS EXPECTED. SOME ACCUMULATION OF
SNOW AND ICE ARE EXPECTED ON UNTREATED ROADS AND SIDEWALKS. ANYONE
WITH TRAVEL PLANS SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR SLIPPERY ROADS AND
REDUCED VISIBILITY. SLOW DOWN WHEN DRIVING AND ALLOW FOR EXTRA

  MID EVENING...AND THEN CONTINUE THE REST OF TONIGHT AND TUESDAY

  HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE IN THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF
  BAYFIELD...ASHLAND AND IRON COUNTIES.

* IMPACTS...UNTREATED ROADS WILL BECOME SNOW PACKED AND ICY
  TONIGHT...CONTINUING THROUGH TUESDAY AND INTO TUESDAY NIGHT.
