.THE SNOWBELT AREAS OF NORTHWEST WISCONSIN ALONG THE SOUTH SHORE
OF LAKE SUPERIOR CAN EXPECT PERIODS OF ACCUMULATING SNOW TODAY
THROUGH WEDNESDAY. SNOW WILL GENERALLY BE LIGHT TODAY...BUT SNOW
WILL INCREASE IN INTENSITY TONIGHT AND WEDNESDAY MORNING AS LAKE
EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS DEVELOP. THE GREATEST SNOWFALL TOTALS ARE
FORECAST OVER THE GOGEBIC RANGE OF FAR EASTERN ASHLAND AND IRON
COUNTIES... WHERE 8 TO 11 INCHES ARE FORECAST FROM TODAY THROUGH
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON. LESSER AMOUNTS FROM ROUGHLY 4 TO 7
INCHES...ARE EXPECTED OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF THE BAYFIELD
PENINSULA.

IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE ADVISORY FOR IRON AND ASHLAND COUNTIES...
INCLUDING THE GOGEBIC RANGE... WILL NEED TO BE UPGRADED TO A
