.DISCUSSION...

Even warmer on Wednesday with highs in the seventies in the
northern valley and the eighties in the southern valley.
Scattered showers are expected to move east across the Sheyenne
and Red River Valleys for late tonight into Wednesday. Some
thunderstorms could reach severe levels across southern parts of
the region Wednesday afternoon and Wednesday night, just ahead a
cold front moving through the valley from west to east. The front
will reach the Devils Lake basin area in the mid to late
afternoon Wednesday and the Red River Valley during the evening.
Ahead of the front, south winds will be 15 to 20 mph with gusts.
Behind the front, winds will shift to northwest. Smoke dispersal
will be good for much of the day and very good at times during the
afternoon.
