Fire Weather Planning Forecast for E ND, NW and WC MN
National Weather Service Grand Forks ND
335 PM CDT Wed Jul 19 2017

.DISCUSSION...

A few storms will be possible late this afternoon and evening
across the far southern Red River Valley and into west central
Minnesota. However, the greatest strong to severe storm threat
has been pushed further south into South Dakota and the southern
half of Minnesota. Once precipitation moves out of the area for
good by late this evening, dry weather will prevail throughout the
day Thursday as high pressure builds in.

The current breezy southwest winds will turn to the north and west
overnight before switching back around to the south/southeast by
late Thursday. Even with the cooler northerly winds on Thursday,
temperatures should still warm into 80s with plenty of sunshine
and minimum relative humidity values in the 40 to 50 percent
range.
