Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 30.7 inch high pressure ridge into the northern
plains will gradually build into the Great Lakes today. The ridge
will continue to shift eastward to the Lower Great Lakes and New
England on Tuesday before a quick moving trough of 29.5 inches
sweeps through the Upper Great Lakes on Wednesday evening. On
Thursday, a 30.2 inch ridge moves across the Upper Great Lakes and
builds to 30.4 inches on Friday.
