For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...a 30.4 inch ridge centered over the Upper Mississippi
Valley builds into the western Great Lakes today. On Tuesday
evening, the ridge axis will be centered over the Appalachians and
northeastern states at 30.3 inches as a low pressure of 29.8
inches organizes and approaches from the west. This low will
strengthen to 29.6 inches as it tracks into the Upper Great Lakes
on Wednesday. A ridge of 30.4 inches will then quickly follow
through central Ontario Thursday as a strengthening trough of 28.9
inches approaches the Great Lakes from the Central Plains on
Friday.
