For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A broad 30.0 inch trough will linger over Lake
Superior today strengthening to 29.8 inches over eastern portions
of the lake by Friday morning. As this trough slides over the
eastern Great Lakes by Saturday, a brief ridge of 30.1 inches will
build across the Upper Great Lakes and strengthen to 30.3 inches
as it moves east of Lake Superior Saturday night. Lake Superior
will remain between a developing 29.2 inch low across central
Canada and the 30.3 high as it moves over the northeast through
the end of the weekend. Early next week, troughing of 29.5 inches
will develop across western Lake Superior as a low pressure system
of 29.2 inches tracks towards the Hudson Bay.
