For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A high pressure system of 30.0 inches will build
across the region tonight. The high will drift to the lower Great
Lakes on Friday, while keeping a ridge of 29.9 inches across Lake
Superior. At the same time, low pressure of 29.6 inches will
develop over the Central Plains. This low will track to the Upper
Mississippi River Valley by Saturday afternoon and cross the Great
Lakes Saturday night into Sunday. In the wake of the low, a high
pressure ridge of 30.2 inches will build over the Upper Great
Lakes on Monday and then linger into Tuesday.
