Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A trough of 29.6 inches extending from northern Quebec
through the lower Great Lakes will reach the east coast this
evening. High pressure of 30.8 inches over Saskatchewan this
morning will reach the Ohio Valley Sunday, with a 30.6 inch ridge
extending from east Texas all the way into northern Quebec by
Sunday night. A 30.1 inch trough will move over the western Great
Lakes Monday as a 31.0 inch high begins to move into the northern
Plains. The trough will move over the eastern Great Lakes Tuesday
as the high slowly slides to the east.
