.SYNOPSIS...A 30.0 INCH RIDGE WILL REMAIN OVER THE LOWER GREAT LAKES
THROUGH THURSDAY AS A HIGH STRETCHES WESTWARD FROM THE CENTRAL
APPALACHIANS. THIS HIGH WILL BE REPLACED BY STRONGER 30.3 INCH HIGH
PRESSURE OVER NEW ENGLAND BY FRIDAY. MEANWHILE...A 29.5 INCH LOW
PRESSURE OVER NORTHERN ONTARIO WILL STRENGTHEN TO 29.2 INCHES AS IT
MOVES TO SOUTHERN HUDSON BAY THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING. THIS WILL SHIFT
A WEAKENING TROUGH AVERAGING 29.9 INCHES ACROSS LAKE SUPERIOR ON
TUESDAY. A 30.0 INCH RIDGE WILL BRIEFLY BUILD ACROSS ALL OF LAKE
SUPERIOR WEDNESDAY. LOOK FOR A BROAD 29.6 INCH LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM
ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL CANADA AND THE CENTRAL PLAINS ON THURSDAY TO
REMAIN NEARLY STATIONARY THROUGH FRIDAY BEFORE DRIFTING EASTWARD TO
THE UPPER MISSISSIPPI VALLEY BY LATE THIS WEEKEND.
