Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A weak low pressure system of 29.7 inches over
northern Ontario this evening will track eastward and reach James
Bay tonight. A 30.9 inch high pressure ridge will then gradually
build into the Great Lakes on Monday. The ridge will continue to
shift eastward to the Lower Great Lakes and New England on Tuesday
before a quick moving trough of 29.5 inches sweeps through the
Upper Great Lakes on Wednesday evening. On Thursday, a 30.2 inch
ridge moves across the Upper Great Lakes and builds to 30.4 inches
on Friday.
