For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 30.0 inch high will drift to the lower Great Lakes
today, while keeping a ridge of 29.9 inches across Lake Superior.
At the same time, low pressure of 29.6 inches will develop over
the Plains. This low will track to the Upper Mississippi Valley by
Saturday night and will then move south across Wisconsin and into
lower Michigan. Sunday into Monday, a 30.0 inch high will start
to build across the Upper Mississippi Valley and slowly push the
29.7 inch low across the eastern Great Lakes. The ridge of high
pressure will build into the Upper Great Lakes on Monday. Trailing
this surface high will be a trough of 29.8 inches that will push
across the Upper Great Lakes by Tuesday night.
