For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 30.4 inch high pressure ridge will shift east into
the Upper Great Lakes this afternoon. As the high moves over
southern Quebec on Wednesday afternoon, a 29.7 inch low pressure
trough will emerge over the western High Plains. On Thursday
morning a low pressure system will develop along the trough axis
at 29.7 inches over southern Saskatchewan. This low will track
northeast and strengthen to 29.1 inches over Hudson Bay on Friday
as it pushes a 29.9 inch trough across Lake Superior.
