For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.9 inch ridge over the Upper Mississippi Valley
will drift across the Upper Great Lakes today. The ridge will
shift over the Lower Great Lakes on Thursday as a 29.4 inch low
develops near Lake Winnipeg. This low will push a series of weak
troughs across Lake Superior Thursday through Saturday as it
drifts eastward to central Quebec. A 30.2 inch ridge will build
across the central Plains on Sunday as a 29.9 inch low forms over
the upper Great Lakes.
