MINNESOTA TO MOVE EAST OVER LAKE SUPERIOR TONIGHT. THIS TROUGH WILL
SLOWLY WEAKEN TO 30.0 INCHES ON FRIDAY AS IT SLIDES EAST ACROSS THE
LAKE...BEFORE STALLING NEAR THE MACKINAC STRAITS ON FRIDAY NIGHT. A
29.9 INCH LOW DEVELOPING IN THE CENTRAL PLAINS ON FRIDAY NIGHT WILL
MOVE NORTHEAST ALONG THIS TROUGH ON SATURDAY WHILE STRENGTHENING TO
29.8 INCHES. THE LOW WILL STRENGTHEN FURTHER TO 29.6 INCHES ON
SATURDAY NIGHT AS IT MOVES INTO QUEBEC...ALLOWING A 30.1 INCH RIDGE
TO MOVE OVER THE UPPER GREAT LAKES REGION. A WEAK TROUGH OF 30.0
INCHES WILL QUICKLY MOVE ACROSS LAKE SUPERIOR ON SUNDAY AHEAD OF A
STRONG HIGH OF 31.2 INCHES BUILDING OVER ALBERTA. THIS HIGH WILL
DRIFT SOUTHEAST INTO THE NORTHERN AND CENTRAL PLAINS BY TUESDAY AND
STRETCH A 30.5 INCH RIDGE OVER THE UPPER GREAT LAKES.
