Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A quick moving trough of 29.6 inches will slide across
Lake Superior early Thursday morning. In the evening, a 30.1 inch
ridge will begin to move over Lake Superior and build to 30.3 inches
on Friday, associated with a 30.5 inch high over the central Plains.
That high will shift to the northeastern U.S. by Saturday morning,
and a 29.7 inch trough will track across the Upper Great Lakes in
the afternoon and evening. Brief ridging of 30.1 inches will pass
through the area on Sunday followed quickly by a weakening trough of
29.7 inches that will pass to the south of Lake Superior on
Monday.
