WEATHER SUMMARY FOR MINNESOTA

CLOUDS REMAINED OVER FAR NORTHERN MINNESOTA DURING THE NIGHT WITH
SOME HIGH CLOUDS MOVING INTO WESTERN AREAS AFTER MIDNIGHT.  EARLY
MORNING TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE UPPER 20S ALONG THE NORTH
SHORE...TO THE MID 40S IN THE SOUTH.

HIGH PRESSURE WILL MOVE EAST TODAY ALLOWING AN INCREASING SOUTHERLY
WIND TO DEVELOP ACROSS THE STATE.  THIS WILL LIFT WARMER AIR INTO
THE REGION.  ALONG WITH THE WARMER AIR...A SMALL CHANCE OF SHOWERS
WILL DEVELOP ACROSS NORTHERN MINNESOTA.  SOME SUNSHINE IS EXPECTED
WITH HIGH WARMING THROUGH THE 70S SOUTH...AND 50S AND 60S NORTH.

A WARM FRONT WILL LIFT INTO SOUTHERN MINNESOTA BY TONIGHT AND WILL
BE THE FOCUS FOR SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS SOUTHERN
MINNESOTA TONIGHT.  THE NORTH WILL SEE CLOUDS AND SHOWERS.  LOWS
WILL RANGE IN THE LOWER 30S NORTHEAST TO THE UPPER 50S SOUTHWEST.

AN AREA OF OF LOW PRESSURE WILL TRAVEL ACROSS FAR SOUTHERN MINNESOTA
SUNDAY INTO SUNDAY NIGHT...WITH SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS LIKELY.
SOME OF THESE STORMS COULD PRODUCE HAIL AND STRONG WINDS. CLOUDS AND
SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED TO CONTINUE IN THE NORTH AS WELL. HIGHS SUNDAY
WILL RANGE IN THE 40S AND 50S NORTH TO THE LOWER AND MID 70S SOUTH.

SHOWERS AND A FEW STORMS WILL LINGER IN THE SOUTH MONDAY...WITH
CLOUDS CLEARING IN THE FAR NORTH.  COLDER AIR WILL FILTER INTO THE
STATE WITH HIGHS EXPECTED TO RANGE IN THE UPPER 20S TO UPPER 40S
NORTH AND 50S TO SOME MID 60S IN THE SOUTHEAST. THE UNSETTLED AND
COOLER WEATHER WILL CONTINUE THROUGH MUCH OF THE COMING WEEK.
