THIS MORNING A WEAK HIGH PRESSURE WAS BUILDING OVER NORTHERN
MINNESOTA...AND AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE WAS CENTERED IN CENTRAL
ILLINOIS. THIS KEPT THE NORTHERN HALF OF THE STATE ALONG WITH THE
SOUTHWEST MOSTLY CLEAR. WHILE THE SOUTHEAST CORNER WAS CLOUDY DUE
TO THE LOW. TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE LOW TO MID 70S ACROSS THE
NORTHERN HALF OF THE STATE. WHILE READINGS ACROSS THE SOUTH RANGED
FROM THE LOWER 70S IN CLOUDY AREAS TO THE UPPER 70S IN PORTIONS OF
SOUTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA.

PARTLY TO MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES ARE EXPECTED THROUGHOUT THE NORTH
STAR STATE THIS AFTERNOON. DUE TO DAY TIME HEATING THERE WILL BE A
THREAT OF A FEW SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS STATEWIDE. THE
BEST CHANCES OF THESE STORMS IS ACROSS THE SOUTH AND IN THE
ARROWHEAD. HIGHS RANGE FROM 60S ALONG THE NORTH SHORE OF LAKE
SUPERIOR TO THE LOW 80S ACROSS THE FAR SOUTH AND FAR WEST.

TONIGHT...ANY SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL END STATEWIDE DURING
THE EVENING HOURS. SKIES WILL REMAIN PARTLY CLOUDY TO MOSTLY
CLEAR...HOWEVER SOME FOG IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP IN THE NORTHEAST.
LOWS RANGE FROM THE UPPER 40S TO NEAR 60 FROM EAST TO WEST ACROSS
THE NORTH. SOUTHERN MINNESOTA WILL SEE READINGS RANGE FROM THE MID
50S TO LOW 60S.

SATURDAY...THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
ACROSS CENTRAL AND NORTHERN PORTIONS OF THE STATE. SOUTHERN
MINNESOTA WILL BE PARTLY SUNNY. HIGHS RANGE FROM THE UPPER 60S TO
MID 70S IN THE NORTHEAST TO THE MID 80S ACROSS WESTERN MINNESOTA.
