CLEAR SKIES WERE COMMON OVER MINNESOTA AT 700AM THIS MORNING.
TEMPERATURES WERE COLD OVER THE NORTHERN TIER AND MORE MODERATE TO
THE SOUTH. TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM 6 DEGREES NEAR THE IRON RANGE
TO 34 DEGREES IN WINONA. TEMPERATURES HAD INCREASED 5 TO 10 DEGREES
THROUGH 1100AM. CLOUD COVER HAD INCREASED THIS MORNING AS A LAYER
OF MID-LEVEL CLOUDS PUSHED ACROSS THE RED RIVER VALLEY AND STRETCHED
FROM FARGO TO THE TWIN CITIES.

HIGH PRESSURE WILL COVER THE WESTERN GREAT LAKES REGION TODAY AND
TONIGHT. LOOK FOR A MOSTLY SUNNY TO PARTLY CLOUDY SKY TODAY AND A
MOSTLY CLEAR TO PARTLY CLOUDY SKY TONIGHT.  ON SUNDAY...AN UPPER
LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL SLIDE OVER EASTERN NORTH DAKOTA INTO
SOUTHERN MINNESOTA. WHILE NO SNOW IS EXPECTED ACROSS THE NORTHERN
HALF OF THE STATE...OR NORTH OF A LINE FROM GRAND FORKS TO
HINCKLEY...AREAS TO THE SOUTH SHOULD EXPECT SNOW.

SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT... MIXED PRECIPITATION AND POSSIBLE
ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL MOVE FROM FARGO DOWN THOUGH THE TWIN CITIES
AND ROCHESTER. THE AREA WILL SEE A BREAK IN PRECIPITATION MONDAY
BEFORE AN AREA OF WIDESPREAD PRECIPITATION MOVES ACROSS THE STATE
TUESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY. THIS PRECIPITATION WILL BE RAIN ON
TUESDAY...BUT WILL SWITCH OVER TO SOME SNOW ACROSS THE NORTH FOR
WEDNESDAY.

HIGHS TODAY WILL RANGE FROM THE LOWER 20S NORTH...TO THE MIDDLE
40S SOUTH. LOWS TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM NEAR ZERO NORTH...TO
AROUND 30 SOUTH. HIGHS ON SUNDAY WILL RISE INTO THE MID TO UPPER
30S ACROSS MINNESOTA.
