...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM CDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected to
  continue.

* WHERE...A portion of north central Alabama, including the
  following county, Madison.

* WHEN...Until 100 AM CDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 259 PM CDT, Automated gauge reports continued to indicate
    flooding is ongoing across the western half of Madison
    County, including the Indian Creek area.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Northwestern Huntsville, Madison, Redstone Arsenal, Triana,
    Marshall Space Flight Center and Harvest.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
