Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern/Central MO and Southwest IL
National Weather Service Saint Louis MO
237 PM CDT Mon Apr 22 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Gusty southwest winds will persist through the night tonight, but
humidity will steadily recover from afternoon minimums and
alleviate the elevated conditions. Winds will weaken and slowly switch
to the northwest during the day tomorrow through the overnight
period as a cold front moves through the area. Showers can also
be expected in most areas, with best chances for wetting rain
along and east of the Mississippi river tomorrow afternoon. Dry
conditions and light northeast winds can be expected Wednesday,
and the next opportunity for widespread rainfall arrives late
Thursday night.
