.DISCUSSION...
High pressure moving past to the north will give us a fair and sunny day
with RH dropping down to the 30-35 percent range this afternoon. The
main concern will be the winds. Although speed will be light, the wind
direction is expected to be a northerly downslope/drainage wind at
daybreak but will steadily veer to northeast and east through midday,
and then south to southwest and upslope in the mid afternoon. The
transport wind will show the same behavior, and could veer a bit
quicker, but will also be less than 10 mph. Note that the winds seen
in the morning FWF represent a 12-hour average over several forecast
zones, whereas a Spot Forecast has information specific to the location
of the burn, so the Spot is more detailed.

Around sunset, the light wind will return to a downslope drainage flow,
most likely northeast or north. Clouds will increase overnight and
moisture will recover. Friday looks cloudy and cool with a chance of
light rain, thus fairly high afternoon RH. Rain amounts will be less
than a tenth of an inch if it rains at all. Wind should be east to
northeast with confidence.
