...Gusty Winds and Elevated Fire Danger This Afternoon...

Northwesterly winds will increase to 15 to 25 mph with gusts 30
to 40 mph behind a cold front this afternoon. The strong winds
will combine with relative humidity of 30 percent or lower to
create an elevated fire danger. The worst conditions are expected
from 2 PM to 6 PM. Please exercise caution with any activities
that involve outdoor fires or create sparks, including campfires,
grilling, and operating large equipment. In addition, drivers of
vans, campers, trailers, and other high profile vehicles should be
extra cautious this afternoon.
