.DISCUSSION...
Today will feature warm and dry conditions with as a dry ridge of
high pressure over central South Dakota moves across the fire around
noon, and exits into Minnesota. The result will be nearly steady
winds out of the northwest today. Winds will diminish to around 5
mph this evening, and shift out of the southeast between 1900 and
2100, before increasing overnight with gusts of 10 to 15 mph. Much
warmer air will slide in Saturday with highs near 80 degrees, which
is nearly 25 degrees above normal for this time of year.
