...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM AKDT THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...Snow and blowing snow. Additional snow accumulations of
  up to three inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. Visibility
  to one-half mile at times.

* WHERE...Thompson Pass.

* WHEN...From 4 AM to 7 PM AKDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing
  snow could significantly reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The system remains on track with snowfall
  rates gradually decreasing this evening. Localized areas of
  stronger winds could lead to reductions in visibility to one-
  half at times. Valdez is continuing to gradually warm above
  freezing this afternoon and snow will mix with rain later this
  afternoon and evening before switching completely to rain.

EVENING...

* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations of up to 6 inches
  south of Tonsina on the Richardson Highway and up to one inch
  of snow north of Tonsina along the Richardson Highway.

* WHERE...Copper River Basin.

* WHEN...From 4 AM to 7 PM AKDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snowfall rates and accumulation is on track
  to gradually decrease later this evening and totals will be
  dependent on snowfall rates and the timing of any precipitation
  type transitioning from snow to a rain snow mix.
