...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT EASTERN FORD...KIOWA...
COMANCHE...SOUTHWESTERN EDWARDS AND EASTERN CLARK COUNTIES THROUGH
1045 PM CDT...

At 948 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Wright to near Ford to
7 miles east of Clark State Lake to near Sitka to 9 miles southeast
of Acres. Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Bucklin, Spearville, Sitka, and Windhorst around 955 PM CDT.
  Protection and Mullinville around 1000 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of these storms include Coldwater, Lake
Coldwater, Greensburg, Buttermilk, Wilmore, Centerview and Belvidere.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
south central and southwestern Kansas.
