...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN TREGO AND NORTHERN
ELLIS COUNTIES THROUGH 115 AM CDT...
At 1208 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms very near Ogallah, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Ellis, Ogallah, Emmeram, and Riga.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 600 AM CDT for
central and west central Kansas.
