...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL FORD...NORTHWESTERN
KIOWA AND SOUTHERN EDWARDS COUNTIES THROUGH 315 PM CDT...

At 246 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles north of Mullinville, moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of east central Ford,
northwestern Kiowa and southern Edwards Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for south central
and southwestern Kansas.
