...The National Weather Service in Des Moines has issued a
Hydrologic Outlook for potential river flooding...for all or
portions of the following rivers in Iowa...Des Moines River...

  Affecting the following counties in Iowa...Mahaska...Wapello

This Hydrologic Outlook is based on both observed and forecast
precipitation. The rivers may respond differently than indicated...
if actual precipitation is greater or less than expected.

Later statements...possibly warnings...will be issued as additional
information becomes available.

  The Des Moines River near Eddyville...or From Cedar Creek near
  Tracy...to Middle Avery Creek near Chillicothe.
* At 9:15 AM Sunday the stage was 59.7 feet...or 1.3 feet below
  Flood Stage.
* Flood Stage is 61.0 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is possible.
* Forecast...the river may rise to Flood Stage Monday evening. The
  river may continue to rise to 61.1 feet...or 0.1 feet above Flood
  Stage...early Tuesday morning and remain near this level for the
  rest of the week.
